Once the new update will out, most current Windows 10 users will be able to download Free Windows 11 update the same way users usually update Windows 10. And if you’re looking to buy Windows 10; Microsoft says that coming Windows 10 in the market will come with the eligibility and system to support Windows 11 update.
According to Windows blog, to check if your current Windows 10 PC is eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11, visit Windows.com to download the PC Health Check app. The free upgrade will begin to roll out to eligible Windows 10 PCs this holiday and continuing into 2022. If you’re not looking for buying a new Windows pc and even haven’t updated your pc to Windows 10 yet, don’t worry- just update Windows 10 free and prepare your machine for the Windows 11 upgrade, though Microsoft doesn’t encourage doing so because it may not be eligible for the same updates.
However, keep in mind that the Windows 11 rollout will be slow, and it could take months before it’s available on your device. New PCs will get the upgrade first, and all compatible devices are expected to receive it by mid-2022, depending on device age and hardware.
